Java Hangout Tomorrow + More Reminders


Welcome back, ACM-W!

We hope everyone had a restful break! This is just a quick reminder that ACM-W is hosting a Java Hangout Study Session Tomorrow, December 2nd, from 3-6pm in the Knowlton Upstairs Student Lounge. Come drop by to study with your peers, enjoy some free snacks, and maybe even learn more about ACM-W!

This will be our final event for the semester, but if you'd like more more STEM and computing related media, we suggest you check out the 2025 Computing, Engineering, Mathematics, and Science Showcase (CEMS) taking place in the Knowlton Center This Thursday, December 4th, from 7-9pm! If you have the time, come out and support your peers! Our very own Treasurer, Lauren, is also presenting there! Her poster covers the VIBES Lab and the research they've been doing on the difference in eye tracking patterns between Virtual Reality and flat panel monitors, so come by and check it out if you have time!

And by the way, thank you to everyone who nominated themselves or their peers for ACM-W Executive Board positons! Elections will be held this week and after they're done, we'll let you know who your new board members are.
