HEY ASA! We have some exciting announcements as well as a bunch of upcoming events to let you know about!

Announcements!

• Congratulations to our newly elected 2024-2025 executive board! All current officers were elected again and will continue to serve through spring 2025.

Upcoming Events!

• ASA Bonding Night!
  • This semester's bonding night will be held Friday, April 5 from 4:30-7:30pm! We will have free snacks, games (video and board), and movies, so drop in anytime! Location TBD
• April General Meeting!
  • Our LAST general meeting of the semester will be Monday, April 15 at 5pm in Sandstone 1! We will be discussing Asians and Asian-Americans in sports in celebration of the upcoming Olympics. Don't worry if you don't know much about sports-- we'll learn together and cap things off with trivia and prizes!
• Stress Less Week Partnership with Active Minds!
  • Race away the stress with Active Minds and the Asian Student Alliance! We will be playing video games, including a certain racing game you all know and love, for prizes! More details to come!

• Iftar Interfaith Dinner
  • The BW Religion Department and BW Worldviews and Interfaith Social Ethics (WISE) Center will be taking up to 10 students to a FREE interfaith discussion and dinner THIS Sunday, March 24 from 4:30-9:30pm! If you're interested, email eposman@bw.edu or esu22@bw.edu for more information.
• Meet the Author: Dr. Tameka Ellington 
  • Meet Dr. Tameka Ellington and discuss her newest book, Black Hair in a White World! This event will be held Monday, March 25 from 5-7:30pm in the Center for Innovation and Growth (CIG).

• Lavender Graduation Ceremony!
  • Do you identify as LGBTQ+ and are graduating this year? Receive a lavender stoll for graduation and participate in a celebration Tuesday, April 23 from 4-5:30pm in the Student Activities Center (SAC)! Be sure to RSVP on Jacket Connect or at the QR code on the attached flyer!
