CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS and 9/12 Meeting Recap!

Good afternoon everyone, and thank you to all who came to our meeting yesterday! My name is Elanna, and I am the secretary of Rotaract. After every meeting, I'll send out a recap email to catch you up on everything we covered! Here is the recap, plus some upcoming volunteering opportunities!

9/12 Meeting Recap:

• We were so excited to meet so many new friends!!
• We went over the requirements for membership in Rotaract, including:
  • 10 hours of service
  • Attendance at 4 of our 6 general meetings this semester
  • Paying dues ($30 for new members, $25 for returning, can be paid via participation at the Browns 50/50 Raffles)
• We introduced our first opportunities for service this semester
• We made Halloween/fall treat bags for the residents of Generations Living Senior Home!

  • If you want to sign up for 9/22, the deadline is THIS MONDAY! SIGN UP NOW!!
• Participate in Bold & Gold Homecoming with Rotaract!
  • Dates: 9/26, 9/27, 9/28
• Volunteer at Generations Living Senior Home (we will walk over together or you can drive!)
  • Dates: 10/12, 12/1
• Ease food insecurity with Food Strong at Coit Farmer's Market
  • Date: 10/5
