What's up, Yellow Jackets! We hope you had an amazing Fall Semester! This fall, we spent a lot of time around BW. We presented at the President's Inauguration, attended Homecoming Bold & Gold, and met left and right with different departments and campus groups. As the semester comes to a close, we wanted to inform you of a few things coming up next year. Check them out below! We hope you all have a very relaxing and fun winter break. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
Accessibility Forum
As part of our platform to focus on accessibility during our term, we have been working closely with President Fisher and Dean of Students Dr. Léna Crain to address accessibility concerns heard from students all around campus. Next semester we will be doing more work to make Baldwin Wallace a more accessible campus and need your help. If you have specific concerns or experiences regarding accessibility on campus, please email us as sbofficers@bw.edu to be a part of the conversation.
Want to be a Student Body Officer?
Petitions are open! If you are interested in being on the ballot for Student Body President or Vice President next semester, you can pick up petitions in the Student Life Center on the second floor of the Union. We will also be hosting another information session on what the roles entail when we return from break. Previously being a part of Student Government is NOT required.
Feedback?
Any questions, concerns, complains, compliments, etc. can be submitted and we will be able to reach out to the right people to answer questions, as well as compile and present the data we gather to the Administration and Board of Trustees. Please feel free to share this with friends, and keep the link with you throughout your time here at BW, as it will be opened indefinitely. YOUR VOICE IS IMPORTANT!
