Baldwin Wallace University Accreditation Information

Your Voice, Our Future

BW is slated to undergo our 10-Year Comprehensive Evaluation to reaffirm accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) in Fall 2027.

Work is underway to prepare for the reaccreditation site-visit that includes compilation of a comprehensive HLC Assurance Argument that tells the story and provides evidence of how BW meets all accreditation requirements. It is imperative that every member of our campus is informed and engaged in the work ahead.

The Criteria for Accreditation are the standards of quality by which HLC determines whether an institution merits accreditation or reaffirmation of accreditation. CLICK HERE for descriptions of each Criterion and its core component.

HLC Engagement Sessions: Your Voice, Our Future

This Fall, in collaboration with the Faculty Center,  three sessions scheduled to engage the BW community in this process were held.   While only a few people are involved in writing the HLC Assurance Argument, it is important that work done ACROSS CAMPUS is included! These sessions were designed to give additional information on Criterion 3 and, more importantly, to hear from campus members about the work they are doing that supports student learning and success at BW.   Please see the Resource section below for recordings and supporting documentation from these sessions.
