Strosacker Union Steps

We will usher in a new academic and campus year.

All members of the BW community are asked to gather at the steps of Strosacker Union for a brief ceremony with an academic charge and call for co-curricular engagement as we mark the start of the school year.

Acting President Tom Sutton and other campus leaders will share thoughts on the new year. The program will include the Ring of Ribbons ceremony, an oath by the student president and vice president, and the singing of the BW alma mater.

All first year, returning, residential, and commuting students can attend. All faculty and staff will be in attendance. Those students with classes scheduled during this time should check with their instructor for direction. Dining facilities will remain open during normal hours throughout the program.

Let's welcome the new year with BW spirit.
