BW and most of northeast Ohio will be in the path of totality. Join us on the BW campus for the total solar eclipse event (totality will be reached by 3:10 p.m.). Free solar glasses will be provided while supplies last.

Gary Kader, director of the Burrell Observatory, will share insights and knowledge about the eclipse as events unfold.

BW will also offer concessions with BW Bakery Moon Pies, activities and entertainment during this rare event. The next total solar eclipse in Ohio will be in the year 2099.

The event will occur with partial cloud cover. However, it will be canceled in the event of heavy rain or snow. Check back here for updates.

Students with classes scheduled from 2-4 p.m. should check with their professor for any class schedule changes.

Event is free and open to the public.

No entrance ticket required.

Free parking in any campus lot.

Watch Professor Kader explain what to expect during the eclipse and its importance to Northeast Ohio.
