Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 10, at 2 p.m. in Ursprung Gymnasium.
All graduating students are asked to complete the First Destination Survey to help BW to understand your post-graduation plans — a job, continuing education, volunteering, or just trying to figure things out. All of your answers remain confidential.
Your response is important. It helps BW to improve programs, understand career interests and celebrate your success. As a thank you, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a drawing for $25 Amazon gift card.
All available guest tickets for the May ceremony have been claimed.
If you require additional tickets, check with other graduating students to see if they may have extra tickets that you may use.
If you did not claim your original five tickets, please contact info@bw.edu.
To accommodate individuals with special needs, we will block off the entire Lou Higgins Recreation Center parking lot for handicapped parking only.
This is a special day for our graduates and their guests with mobility needs, and reserving this entire lot is necessary.
We are asking all students and employees to have their cars removed from the Lou Higgins Recreation Center parking lot by 10:00 PM on Friday, May 9.
This includes University owned trucks and vans.
We would also like to have the entire Kleist and Tressel St. parking lots cleared out by 8:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, for our graduates and their guests. Please find alternate parking if you are not attending the commencement ceremonies.
Thank you for your cooperation in making this a special day for our graduates. Please contact Parking Services at 440 826-2410 if you have any questions or concerns.
You can order your Commencement regalia from the Campus Bookstore, in person or online. Place your order by May 2.
Students earning a bachelor’s degree with honors (cumulative GPA of 3.6 or above) will be issued Honor Cords by the University. Qualifying students will receive an email with instructions for obtaining their cords.
Stoles are distributed by the sponsoring organization. Contact the appropriate organization for information.
BW has partnered with GradImages to provide graduate photos. All graduates will be directed to a photo station immediately after exiting the commencement stage and have a photo taken. For information about ordering photos, visit GradImages online, contact their customer service department at (800) 261-2576 or through email. Students who register with GradImages before Commencement Day at gradimages.com/preregistration can receive a 20% discount on their entire order.
