Updates, resources and information regarding Commencement for graduating BW students.
Fall 2024 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 14, at 2 p.m. in Ursprung Gymnasium.
NOTE: Guests do not require tickets for the Fall Commencement Ceremony.
All graduates will receive email communications from the Marshal of Commencement to confirm their participation and provide information on arrival times, lineup and procession. Please look for emails from marshal@bw.edu in the week before commencement.
If you need special accommodations to participate in commencement, please notify the marshal. It is important that you watch the accompanying rehearsal video to find out where, when and how to process into commencement.
To accommodate individuals with special needs, we will block off the entire Lou Higgins Recreation Center parking lot for handicapped parking only.
This is a special day for our graduates and their guests with mobility needs, and reserving this entire lot is necessary.
We are asking all students and employees to have their cars removed from the Lou Higgins Recreation Center parking lot by 10:00 PM on Friday, December 13.
This includes University owned trucks and vans.
We would also like to have the entire Kleist and Tressel St. parking lots cleared out by 8:00 AM on Saturday, December 14, for our graduates and their guests. Please find alternate parking if you are not attending the commencement ceremonies.

Place your order by December 6 to assure delivery before Commencement.
Students graduating with honors (cumulative GPA of 3.6 or above) may obtain their honor cords at the OneStop in Bonds Hall. Cords are available during office hours until 3 p.m., Friday, December 13. They will not be available on Commencement Day.
BW has partnered with GradImages to provide graduate photos. All graduates will be directed to a photo station immediately after exiting the commencement stage and have a photo taken. For information about ordering photos, visit GradImages online, contact their customer service department at (800) 261-2576 or through email. Students who register with GradImages before Commencement Day at gradimages.com/preregistration can receive a 20% discount on their entire order.
