Deep Dive is a 6-week student facilitator training that equips you with the confidence and skills to:

Lead civic dialogue

Navigate conflict with confidence

Create space for meaningful and respectful discussion

This fall, a small cohort of student leaders will take a deep dive into dialogue, disarming communication, and leadership through action.

💡 Training Highlights

Learn facilitation, dialogue, and conflict transformation skills

Practice peer leadership with personalized coaching

Participate in a mock simulation of Dinner & a Fight

Optional field trips to observe civic dialogue in action

Receive a $200 stipend for full participation

Opportunity to be selected to present Dinner & a Fight at the NASPA Civic Engagement Conference—sharing the stage with university administrators and student leaders from across the country

🗓 Training Schedule

Duration: September 30 – November 11

Meeting Time: Tuesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM (virtual unless noted)

Facilitators: Marsita Ferguson, Keith Lanser, Alexis Crosby

Optional Sessions: November 18 and December 2
