Deep Dive is a 6-week student facilitator training focused on building the confidence and skills to lead civic dialogue, navigate conflict, and create space for meaningful discussion.
This fall, we’re selecting a small cohort of student leaders to take a deep dive into dialogue, disarming communication, and leadership through action.
💡 Training Highlights:
Learn facilitation, dialogue, and conflict transformation skills
Practice peer leadership and receive expert coaching
Participate in a mock simulation of "Dinner & a Fight"
Optional field trips to observe civic dialogue in action
Opportunity to co-facilitate a national session at the NASPA Conference
🗓 Training Schedule:
Duration: September 30 – November 11
Meeting Time: Tuesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM (Virtual unless noted)
Facilitators: Marsita Ferguson, Keith Lanser, Alexis Crosby
Optional Sessions: November 18 and December 2

Student leaders at any stage—especially those active in affinity groups, civic engagement, or peer mentoring—who want to build communication tools and leadership skills that matter.
