ELIGIBILITY: Anyone enrolled in at least one class is eligible. Insurance is NOT necessary.

OBTAINING SERVICE: Call for appointment as COVID screening/testing may be done prior to illness evaluation. Limited walk-in services. Telehealth visits are available.

HOURS:  Monday-Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Fridays 9:00am-3:00pm. Closed Saturday and Sundays.

FOR AFTER HOURS emergencies, Southwest General Hospital is located a half mile directly up Bagley Road.

BASIC SERVICES:

Clinic care includes evaluation and treatment of illnesses and injuries, certain lab tests, referrals when indicated and loan of medical equipment such as crutches.

A nurse practitioner provides the following additional services by appointment: physicals, gynecological and contraceptive services, evaluation and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy testing and referrals. (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY-NO WALK-INS PLEASE)

Charges can be added to your tuition bill or you may pay with cash, check, or flex dollars. Items charged are medications, lab work, injections, physicals, GYN exams, some tests and equipment not returned.

THERE IS NO CHARGE TO SEE A NURSE OR PHYSICIAN.

TimelyCare

TimelyCare is a supplement to mental health services available through BW Counseling Services and provides access to 24/7/365 mental telehealth care from anywhere in the United States, with no cost at the time of visit.

Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed or depressed you will be able to talk to a licensed provider from your smartphone or any web-enabled device. Licensed providers are available to offer mental health support via phone or secure video visits. Below are a few FAQs about TimelyCare

Q. How can students access TimelyCare?

A. Students can go to https://timelycare.com/baldwinwallace to register with their name on BW record and university email address. Students can then have visits from any web-enabled device – smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. TimelyCare is available from anywhere in the United States.

A. Any enrolled Baldwin Wallace University student.

A. There are three services available:

Medical: on-demand access to a medical provider that can treat a wide range of common illnesses like cold and flu, sinus infection, allergies and more

TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand access to a mental health professional to talk about anything at anytime

Scheduled Counseling: scheduled options to speak to a licensed counselor

Q. How much does a visit cost?
