Sexual Assault Awareness Month: Virtual Clothesline Project

Virtual Clothesline Project: April 25, 11 am-2 pm, Union Faculty Lounge.

The Clothesline Project is a visual display of statistics about interpersonal violence, survivors’ stories, and statements of support for survivors. The project increases awareness, affirms survivors, and offers information about resources to prevent and respond to interpersonal violence.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month: Athletics Advocacy Events

Athletics Advocacy Events: April 3 (Softball at 3:00 and 5:00 pm, Women’s Lacrosse at 7:00 pm) and April 10 (Baseball at 1:00 and 4:00 pm, Men’s Lacrosse at 7:00 pm).

BW Athletics supports survivors of interpersonal violence and is committed to sexual respect. In support of April’s national Sexual Assault Awareness Month, teams and fans are wearing teal ribbons. Cleveland Rape Crisis Center staff and BW’s Title IX Coordinator will provide information at the games.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month: Red Flag Campaign

Red Flag Campaign: April 8-12, Union East Lawn.

The Red Flag Campaign is a national campaign to create awareness of some of the “red flags” in unhealthy relationships. These flags, some of which were written by members of the BW community, serve as a reminder and a call to action: speak up and take action before these warning signs cause further harm.
