Dear Family
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, we invite you to participate in a meaningful and inspiring event:
MLK Week Ecumenical Service & Candlelight Vigil
Featuring the Berea-Midpark High School Choir
Co-sponsored by the Black Student Alliance and the Office of Spiritual Life
Date: This Thursday 23
Time: 11:00 AM
Location: Lindsay-Crossman Chapel, 56 Seminary Street, Berea
This special service will offer an opportunity for reflection, community unity, and celebration of Dr. King's vision for justice, equality, and peace. We’ll continue our tradition of "Sunshine & Rain," where we share our joys (sunshine) and challenges (rain). Whether it’s something going well or a difficult season, we take a moment in silence to hold one another in our thoughts and prayers. The service will also be accompanied by a candlelight vigil to honor Dr. King and Reverend Lawson's memories, with uplifting music provided by the Berea-Midpark High School Choir.
We look forward to coming together in fellowship to commemorate this important day.
Please feel free to bring friends —everyone is welcome.
With warm regards,
The Office of Spiritual Life
