Stargazing at BW's Burrell Observatory - August 4 or 5 (Final date announced August 1)

Join us for a special after-dark experience at one of Ohio’s most beautiful surviving vintage observatories—right here on BW’s campus! We’ll meet on the Knowlton Center Atrium steps at 9 PM, where Director Gary Kader will welcome us with a brief history of the Burrell Observatory and a crash course in navigating the night sky.

Then, we’ll head inside for a chance to view the stars and planets through the Observatory’s historic telescope.

Gary will confirm whether the tour will take place on Monday, August 4 or Tuesday, August 5, based on weather and visibility, so please keep both evenings open.

This event is open to all! Feel free to bring partners or family for a fun and educational night under the stars.
