Women's Heart Health
Alpha Phi became one of the first women's fraternity to establish a Foundation in 1956. The Foundation "was created as a trust agreement to award scholarships and promote cardiac aid." The Foundation holds true to this original priority today through the five vital programs, including holding leadership training and programming, awarding scholarships to Alpha Phis, investing in women's heart health, aiding members through the Forget Me Not Grant, and preserving the heritage of the fraternity. Red Dress Gala is our biggest annual philanthropy event! Members of Delta Upsilon are encouraged to invite family and friends to a night of food and drink, auctions, raffles, games, and education.
