OVATION 2026: THURSDAY, April 30, 2026
OVATION is BW’s annual campus-wide celebration of student achievement. It’s an academic showcase where students share their research, ideas and creative work with the BW community. Projects can be individual or group work and can be presented in a variety of formats.
Ovation 2026 will focus on activities that demonstrate THE BW WAY. BW students are:
- Leader-ready through mentorship and real opportunities to grow
- Career-ready with hands-on experience, clear pathways, and professional connections.
- Future-ready with AI literacy, skills in financial wellness, and ethical and civic engagement.

THINKING OF PARTICIPATING IN OVATION THIS YEAR? NEW THIS YEAR: Ovation will organize all presentations/activities through one application process, the Intent to Present Form. This one application process, including those that may have been handled independently through the department. This new process is designed to streamline submissions, improve communication, and ensure that all activities are published and recognized throughout the day. In addition, Departments hosting their honor/award events or graduation receptions in the morning or late afternoon/evening of Ovation Day should notify the committee via Ovation@bw.edu so the event can be highlighted in the program.
