You will receive your schedule during orientation.
There is an Involvement Fair during the first week of school. You can also use Jacket Connect to discover different on-campus groups or see our Clubs and Organization page under the Student Life tab for a list of organizations BW has!
All rooms have a standard Twin XL mattress. Buying Twin XL sheets, a mattress topper, and maybe even a mattress pad for extra comfort is recommended. The dorms fluctuate in temperature so you may also want to bring a comforter and extra blankets to add or remove.
If you come into BW with first-year status and are living on campus, you are only permitted to park in the Fairgrounds lot, otherwise known as C Lot, if you have purchased a parking pass. If you are a commuter with first-year status, you can park in any of the designated commuter parking lots. If you have enough credits and come in with sophomore status, you can park in any designated student parking lot.
This interactive campus map shows where specific student lots are for resident and commuter students!
The first step in the process of getting financial aid is completing your FAFSA and getting it sent to the school of your choice, which is in the FAFSA application. After that, it may take a little time, but the school will reach out to you with a financial aid offer. You should also apply for outside scholarships and any scholarships you may qualify for through the school!
The events around campus are normally put on TVs and flyers throughout the Union and other academic buildings on campus. Jacket Connect also has an Events tab where clubs and organizations list their events or meetings. There is also an Instagram for Student Life, which is @BWStudentLife.
