Lauren Bara, CNP, Director Graduate of Oberlin College and Lorain Community College. Trained as an Ob/Gyn Nurse Practitioner through Planned Parenthood/ University of Wisconsin. She is certified as a College Health Nurse and certified by the State of Ohio as an Advanced Practice Nurse/ Nurse Practitioner. Lauren's area of expertise is sexual health and she sees patients at the Health Center for gynecological exams, birth control, STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, and HIV testing in addition to seeing patients for illness and injury. She enjoys working with college students and strives to involve them in their own health care. Lauren occasionally gives talks on campus, in residence halls and in classrooms and feels health education is an important part of health care. In her free time Lauren is an avid gardener and mystery reader. Also a pet lover, she has two cats .

Dr. Ghassan Abdallah, Medical Director Dr. Abdallah completed his undergraduate degree at Baldwin Wallace University. In 1997 he graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. His residency training was at University Hospital in 2000. Dr. Abadallah is a chairman of Family Medicine and board certified. He is a member of Southwest Family Physicians. His wife is also a family practice physician and they have 4 beautiful daughters. In his free time he enjoys being with his family and skiing.

Dr. Ashley Fuentes, DO attendd Case Western Reserve University for her undergraduate training. She completed her medical degree at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic medicine and residency training in Family Medicine at University Hospitals. Dr Fuentes is board certified in Family and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. She began working at Southwest Family Physicians in 2019 and joined the team at Baldwin Wallace Health Center in 2020. Her hobbies include boxing, cooking, and trying to keep her plants alive.

Dr. Suzanne Staraitis, DO atteneded Ursuline College for undergraduate training. She graduated from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. She completed residency training at Western Reserve Hospital and is board certified in Family Medicine. She began working at Southwest family Physicians in 2015 and joined BW Health Center in 2020. She is the chairman of Family Medicine at Southwest General. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Kim Tofil, RN, BSN Kim graduated from Ursuline College with a BSN degree. She began her nursing career in the operating room and endoscopy lab. The recent part of her career was at a family medicine practice. She is married with three grown triplet sons. Kim enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies and taking vacations

Lisa Weber, RN Lisa received her BSN from Alderson-Broaddus College in West Virginia. She grew up locally but enjoyed the challenge of going "away" to school. She is married with two children and a house full of pets. She enjoys cooking and gardening in her free time.

Julie Dailey, RN ,BA, Office Manager Graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and Fairview General Hospital School of Nursing. Along with working at BWU, Julie also works at Fairview Hospital as a Pediatric Nurse. She is a proud mother of two daughters and two sons. Her hobbies include being outdoors, scrapbooking, reading mysteries, biking and traveling.

Linda Florian, RN, BSN Linda graduated from Cleveland State University and Fairview General Hospital School of Nursing. She has worked in many different areas of nursing, and currently works home health as well as at the BW Health Center. Linda is married with three children and lives in Middleburg Heights. In her free time, Linda loves spending time with her family, biking, walking, reading and enjoying the Berea-Midpark Marching Band each fall.

Kari Hurst, RN, BSN Kari received her Bachelor degree in nursing from the University of Akron. She spent over 15 years working in acute care. She also began her career working in long term/rehabilitation setting. Kari is married to her high school sweet heart and has 3 children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends..

Laura George, RN,BSN Laura George received her Bachelor's degree in nursing from Kent State University. She started her career in medical/surgical, however spent the majority of her career in endoscopy. She recently began working as a nurse in the K-12 school setting. She enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include taking walks, reading, baking and eating desserts, and playing board games.
