  • Research of Religion in Cleveland

In collaboration with the Summer Scholars program or independent study, students can research areas of interest related to religions and worldviews in Cleveland. Cleveland has a diverse and beautiful history involving multiple ethnicities and backgrounds; there is much to learn about the beautiful place Baldwin Wallace is located in.

  • Alternative Break Trips

Fashioned after the Break Away Alternative Break trips, yearly selected students are invited to take a trip where, for one week, they get to engage in interfaith work. From helping a service-based organization to exploring different religions to nightly interfaith dialogue, these trips are filled with learning, laughter, and lasting memories.

  • Faith and Life Lecture Series

The BW Chair in Faith & Life was established to nourish spiritual life and perpetuate the ecumenical tradition of unity and friendship at Baldwin Wallace University. The Chair contributes to the spiritual life of the University and its many constituencies through a variety of programs for clergy and laity, by sponsoring seminars for students and faculty, and by teaching courses each semester in the Department of Religion.

Some past lecturers have included Alan Kolp, Daniel P. Horan, Joan Brown Campbell, Michael W. Higgins, James Wallis, Margaret Benefiel, Ilia Delio, Alisha Lola Jones, Christopher Pramuk, and Jacqui Lewis.
