Educate the BW Community and public at large about diverse worldviews and religions to combat prejudice and stereotypes and increase understanding.

Prepare professionals to reflect on and articulate their own worldviews and to engage diverse communities sensitively, intelligently, and respectfully.

Spread awareness of the calls for compassion and justice in a variety of philosophical, cultural, and religious contexts.

Conduct research on the history of Greater Cleveland’s religious communities and interfaith activities.

Advocate

The David & Frances Brain Center for Community Engagement (formerly the Office of Community Outreach - OCO) offers a variety of ways to get involved in service at the local, national and international levels.
