Office of Accessible Education (OAE)
The Office of Accessible Education (OAE) collaborates with students, faculty, and staff to help create equitable, inclusive educational environments for qualified students with disabilities. Accessible Education works to address educational barriers by providing access to reasonable accommodations, services and resources while maintaining the rigorous academic standards and integrity of Baldwin Wallace University. They engage in outreach across campus to ensure a more accessible and welcoming environment for people with varying disabilities. OAE can assist with questions regarding:
- Academic Accommodations
- Accessible Housing
- How to register with the Office of Accessible Education (OAE)
- How to request a Letter of Accommodation (LOA)
- Concussion Management
- Service Animals*

Alternative Testing
Alternative Testing is responsible for all matters related to student use of the Alternative Testing room. The staff's responsbility is to proctor and adminster tests on behalf of the faculty and to provide approved students with an alternative location to complete their quizzes or examinations. They can assist with any questions about:
- Utilizing the Alternative Testing space
- Scheduling exams, tests, or quizzes
- Class conflicts with scheduling
- Problems with scheduling
- Policies and procedures of the Alternative Testing room
- Test proctoring roles
Please note: All questions about specific test instructions or materials must be directed to the instructor of the course.
