The right to peacefully protest is protected by the First Amendment. When choosing whether to participate in a protest, it's important to know your rights and responsibilities and evaluate the goals and risks of this type of action. Advanced preparation doesn't guarantee safety, but can help to reduce risks. There are multiple resources you can look to for safety precautions and tips.
In partnership with the BW Computer Science and Sustainability programs and BW Dining Services, Campus Plate is a program designed to reduce food waste and combat food insecurity on campus.
